FieldInsight Feature Release — Week 15 2026
Feature update for FieldInsight — what’s new in Week 15 2026. Here’s everything shipped to the platform this week.
Smarter Variation Filtering on Claims
What’s new
- When creating a claim, only variations with relevant statuses (WIP, Quote Accepted, Job Created, Job Completed) are now included
- Draft and early-stage variations are automatically excluded from claim selection
Why it helps
This prevents incomplete or unapproved variations from accidentally being added to claims, reducing billing errors and saving time when preparing progress claims.
Quote Titles Now Visible on Claims
What’s new
- The quote title now displays next to the variation number on the claims page
Why it helps
Office staff can quickly identify which variation they’re looking at without having to open each one individually, making claim preparation faster and less error-prone.
Smaller QR Codes for Assets
What’s new
- QR codes displayed when clicking “Show QR” on assets are now smaller and more manageable
Why it helps
The resized QR codes are easier to print on asset labels and fit better on screen when reviewing asset details.
Export Deleted Assets
What’s new
- Added an Export button to the deleted assets view
Why it helps
You can now export a list of deleted assets for record-keeping, audits, or reviewing what equipment has been removed from your system.
Type Dates Directly Without the Date Picker
What’s new
- Date fields now accept typed input directly—just enter numbers and slashes are added automatically
- You can still use the date picker, or copy and paste dates between fields
- A placeholder format now guides you on the expected date format
Why it helps
Data entry is faster for office staff who prefer typing over clicking through a calendar, especially when entering multiple dates in a row.
Web Link Custom Fields in Import Templates
What’s new
- Web link custom field types can now be included in import templates
Why it helps
Businesses importing data in bulk can now include website links or online references directly in their imports, reducing manual data entry after the fact.
Default Markup Setting in Project Builder
What’s new
- A new option lets you set a default markup percentage for new line items in Project Builder
- New items automatically inherit the default markup you’ve set
Why it helps
This saves time when building quotes or projects with consistent margins—you no longer need to manually enter the same markup on every line item.
Reply-To Address for Sales Documents
What’s new
- Added a “Reply-To” email address option for sales documents
- Emails sent to customers can now route replies to your preferred business email
Why it helps
Customer replies to quotes and invoices go directly to the right inbox, ensuring faster response times and fewer missed messages.
Asset Type Added to Asset Standards
What’s new
- Asset type is now displayed and available within asset standards configuration
Why it helps
This makes it easier to organize and filter maintenance standards by equipment type, streamlining compliance and service scheduling.
Customizable Column Headers on Fire Safety Reports
What’s new
- You can now rename column headers in the Fire Safety Measures block on maintenance reports
Why it helps
Businesses can tailor report layouts to match their own terminology or client requirements, making reports clearer and more professional.
