FieldInsight Feature Release — Week 25 2026

Feature update for FieldInsight — what’s new in Week 25 2026. Here’s everything shipped to the platform this week.

Asset Management System

What’s new

  • Assets can now be managed as dedicated records with their own custom fields, rather than storing asset data loosely on job records
  • Each asset maintains its own complete job history, showing all work performed on that specific piece of equipment
  • Defects can be logged directly against individual assets for better tracking and reporting

Why it helps

Instead of hunting through job records to find equipment history, you can now see everything about an asset in one place — past services, logged defects, and upcoming work. This makes it easier to spot problem equipment and make informed decisions about repairs versus replacement.

Skills and Inductions Management with Expiry Reminders

What’s new

  • Track licenses, certifications, and inductions for technicians and subcontractors with customizable forms
  • Automatic email and SMS reminders sent 6 weeks before any license or certification expires
  • Skills matrix shows at a glance which team members have expired or expiring credentials, with filtering options

Note:  Using this module may be a plan upgrade, please enquire with the team if you wish to use this module.

Why it helps

Never get caught out by an expired license again. The system automatically alerts you before credentials lapse, so you can ensure your team stays compliant and qualified for the work they’re assigned to.

Custom Dashboard Builder

What’s new

  • Create dashboards with pie charts, bar charts, and sparklines to visualize your business data
  • Roll up key numbers at a glance, then drill down into the underlying data to investigate exceptions
  • Track metrics like technician utilization, jobs completed, assets under maintenance, and defects by asset type

Why it helps

Stop manually building spreadsheets to understand your business. Dashboards highlight when something needs attention — like a technician consistently running late or a site with recurring issues — so you can fix problems before they grow.
