Feature update for FieldInsight — what’s new in Week 21 2026.

Here’s everything shipped to the platform this week.

Project Transaction Export

• Minor improvements to the project transaction export to MYOB ARL.
• Reworking the timesheet export:
  • To optimise the search time to return a result
  • Added timesheet export progress bar to the progress pop-up to provide more visibility

Billable Items and Documents

• We have made billable items on jobs sticky and also implemented the same sticky functionality for documents.

Supplier Codes and Inventory Items

• Feature to map supplier codes with inventory items:  Available only via the AI OCR Document import
  • A new type, “supply pricing,” allows adding a supplier and a specific code (e.g., ABC) for a product.
  • This enables mapping imported bills via AI: if the AI finds the supplier code (e.g., ABC) in a PDF or image, it maps it to the corresponding inventory item.
  • If the supplier from the bill matches the supplier pricing, the corresponding item will be retrieved.
  • Otherwise, the supplier code field will be blank after import from AI.
• Added image support for AI imports, allowing PNG and JPEG files in addition to PDFs.

Fire Report and Mobile Timesheet

• Added new columns to the fire report under the safety measure block:
  • Critical defect
  • Rectification date
• A new system field, “activity type,” to the mobile weekly timesheet section.
• Added “activity type behavior work” and a placeholder transaction type for documents.

To-Do Page and Sales Document List

• Added a new “title” column after “supplier” in the driver sales document list.

Detailed Timesheet and Custom Fields

• Added a new “defect status” column in the detailed timesheet.
• Added a filter by “is active” option for multi-choice custom fields.

Project Claims and Budget Stage

• Enhancements to Project claims for the budget stage:
  • Settings were moved from project settings to the project page.
  • A new claim type, “budget stage,” is available, alongside standard claim tasks and jobs.

Business Entity Import and Project Page Buttons

• Added business entity import functionality for accounts, sites, and staff:
• Added new buttons to the projects page for creating quotes, variations, invoices, purchase orders, bills, and reports.
