Feature update for FieldInsight — what’s new in Week 19 2026.
Here’s everything shipped to the platform this week.
UI/UX Enhancements
- Schedule Page Layout:
- New layout is more comfortable and better than previous version.
- More updates are coming for the calendar UI to make it more modern and usable.
- Job hover restyled.
- Header and technician columns restyled.
Feature Development & Updates
- SWMS Document Management:
- New field added for SWMS documents to upload attached PDF files.
- Allows downloading non-signed safety documents by creating a new version of prestart documents for download from the scheduler application.
- New field added for SWMS documents to upload attached PDF files.
- Timesheet Management:
- Implemented showing complete SWMS or opening the job on the new timesheet page.
- Added a new setting to disable auto-generating timesheets for weekends.
- We are working on bulk approval for daily timesheets, currently in testing.
- Asset and Defect Management :
- Default status filter settings added for mobile applications (Job Manager, Asset Defects).
- Asset ID column added to the defect summary table in Sales reports and templates.
- Critical defect notification feature implemented:
- When an asset’s text channel setting is enabled and a defect’s priority changes to critical, a notification is sent to the recipient business account.
- Notification includes defect number, asset name, site name, site address, and a link to the defect.
- Financial and Project Management:
- Project budget items to follow the default markup instead of using the inventory item markup percentage.
- Added division to Bills (fields page and advanced search).
- Implemented showing invoice status on project claims.
- Renamed “approval limit” to “approval limit including GST”.
- Fixed credit number calculation to exclude tax.
