Feature update for FieldInsight — what’s new in Week 15 2026. Here’s everything shipped to the platform this week.

Improved Date Entry in Forms

What’s new

  • Date fields now display a placeholder showing the expected format
  • Type dates directly without needing to use the date picker
  • Slashes are inserted automatically as you type numbers
  • Copy and paste dates between fields

Why it helps

Entering dates is now faster and more flexible. You can type dates quickly without clicking through a calendar, or copy dates between fields — saving time when scheduling jobs or filling out forms.

Default Markup for Project Builder Items

What’s new

  • Set a default markup percentage for new line items in Project Builder
  • New items automatically apply your chosen markup

Why it helps

When building quotes or projects, you no longer need to manually set the markup on every item. Set it once and all new lines inherit that percentage, reducing repetitive data entry and ensuring consistent pricing.

Web Link Custom Field Import Support

What’s new

  • Web link custom field type is now included in import templates

Why it helps

You can now bulk import records that include web links in custom fields, making it easier to migrate data or update records in bulk without manual entry.

Reply-To Address for Sales Documents

What’s new

  • Added option to set a reply-to email address when sending sales documents

Why it helps

Customer replies to quotes and invoices can now be directed to a specific email address, ensuring responses go to the right person or department instead of getting lost.

Asset Type Added to Asset Standards

What’s new

  • Asset type is now available on the Asset Standards form

Why it helps

You can now associate asset standards with specific asset types, making it easier to organize and apply the right maintenance standards to different equipment categories.

Customisable Column Headers in Fire Safety Measures

What’s new

  • Rename column headers in the Fire Safety Measures block on maintenance reports
  • Custom headers display on the report preview and printed output

Why it helps

Tailor your compliance reports to match your terminology or client requirements without needing separate report templates.

Smaller QR Code Display on Assets

What’s new

  • Reduced the size of the QR code when clicking “Show QR” on assets in the Scheduler app

Why it helps

The QR code is now easier to scan and takes up less screen space, making it quicker for technicians to access asset information in the field.

Export Deleted Assets

What’s new

  • Added ability to export deleted assets from the assets page

Why it helps

You can now generate reports that include deleted assets, useful for audits, record-keeping, or reviewing equipment that has been decommissioned.

Claim Variations Now Filter by Status

What’s new

  • When creating a claim, only variations with relevant statuses are shown (WIP, Quote Accepted, Job Created, Job Completed)
  • Draft and other incomplete variations are excluded

Why it helps

Claims now only show variations that are ready to be claimed, reducing clutter and preventing accidental inclusion of incomplete work in your claims.

Quote Title Displayed on Claims Page

What’s new

  • The quote title is now shown next to the variation number on the Claims page

Why it helps

Easily identify which quote each variation belongs to without opening it, making claim preparation faster when working with multiple variations.
